SAN FRANCISCO – Fashion retailer Gap has launched a B2B product programme, enabling businesses of all sizes to purchase non-medical grade cloth face masks in bulk.
The introduction of the initiative coincides with the re-opening of brick and mortar stores around the world as countries emerge from lockdown with strict health and safety procedures in place both for staff and customers.
“In the face of this pandemic, the Gap Inc. team was able to quickly respond to a customer need for masks,” said John Strain, Gap’s head of e-commerce and technology. “We started hearing from companies like ours who wanted to be able to supply their employees with the same product, so we’re excited to extend our high-quality reusable, non-medical grade cloth face mask offering to organisations that want to help protect their employees as they re-enter the workforce.”
