COPENHAGEN – Ahead of next week’s virtual Copenhagen Fashion Summit (CFS+), workers’ rights organisation Remake has called for greater representation of those in fashion supply chain’s in the conference’s programme.

“Organisers boast that this year’s digital format will ‘have room for everyone’, and yet the voices of garment workers are noticeably absent from the supposedly more inclusive lineup,” Remake says.

Whilst calling on the event’s organisers, Global Fashion Agenda (GFA), to make some last-minute amends, Remake also wants ties with brands and retailers yet to pay their suppliers for retracted orders severed, as to send a strong message to the broader industry.
