SAN FRANCISCO – Workers’ rights NGO Remake has named some of the world's biggest fashion companies "offenders" in its first ever Brand Transparency Report.
It names 10 offenders - Zara, H&M, Everlane, Uniqlo, Forever 21, sustainable footwear brand Allbirds, Missguided, Boohoo, Urban Outfitters and Supreme - who all make the blacklist for failing to disclose more information about their efforts on human rights and environmental issues.
The Remake 2020 Brand Transparency Report also indentifies 10 'rock stars', 10 'wannabes' and 10 'up and comers'. The judgements are made on the information that brands disclose on human rights, climate, water and waste.
