The OAR has a remote staff base including this role. Current staff are based on the East Coast of the US and in the United Kingdom and work closely with its technical providers, also on the East Coast of the US.

In this varied role, the Data Moderator and Team Administrator will provide essential support and coordination for the Open Apparel Registry team and its data at an exciting phase in the OAR’s development. Joining a small but growing team, this role presents the opportunity for an ambitious individual to play an essential role by building trust in, and maintaining the accuracy of, the data in the OAR. The candidate must feel comfortable working with large datasets whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in completing the work.

This role will be responsible for managing all public data sets in the OAR, including sourcing new data sets to contribute to the database from brands and other organisations in the apparel sector. This role also plays a critical part in considering new user services and identifying trends and opportunities in the data set.

This position provides essential administrative support to the growing OAR team, as well as marketing and communications assistance to the OAR’s Stakeholder Manager. A working knowledge of the apparel sector, or a similar sector with a complex global supply chain is preferred.

This role is perfect for a candidate with an interest and career ambitions in open data, data analysis, software services and sustainability.
