VALENCIA - Spanish textile business Jeanologia has launched a new technology which it says enables two people with two robots and eight lasers to sustainably produce 10,000 pairs of jeans a day.
Jeanologia says its 'Handman' production system will changes the relationship between brands, retailers and producers, allowing them to be more strategic and interconnected.
"With Handman, the company achieves a new milestone by making sustainable production scalable. This technology is the beginning of a new era with a completely automised, sustainable and digital production," it said in a statement.
