SYDNEY - The University of Technology Sydney (UTS) is teaming up with education and training provider TAFE NSW to develop a new Centre for Fashion and Textiles Sustainability.

The education centre, in Sydney, aims to help develop a more sustainable Australian fashion industry post-COVID and is supported by a AU$200,000 grant from the government of New South Wales (NSW).

The money will provide initial funding to develop the concept and accelerate the creation of the centre which will host cutting edge equipment including 3D knitting machines, body scanning, digital pattern cutting and 3D printing.
