MILAN – Italian fashion giant The Armani Group has vowed to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 50 per cent over the next decade. The company says it is targeting a 50 per cent reduction in scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 2030 (from a 2019 base year). 

Additionally, the company promises to reduce absolute scope 3 GHG emissions from purchased goods and services, as well as downstream transportation and distribution, by 42 per cent by 2029 (from the same base year).
