OAKLAND – Apparel resale specialist ThredUp is to expand its operations in Lancaster, Texas to more than double its capacity and continue to meet growing demand for secondhand fashion.
The company will invest US$70 million in the Dallas-Forth Worth metroplex in order to make the site its largest and most automated distribution centre.
“ThredUp’s newest distribution centre underscores our relentless investment in the technology and software that powers our network and enables us to deliver resale at unparalleled scale,” said James Reinhart, the firm’s co-founder and CEO.
