AUCKLAND – Outdoor brand Icebreaker has teamed up with Finnish fibre innovator Spinnova to develop new circular midlayer products comprising merino wool and the latter’s recycled fibre.
The pair say they’re working on a “completely novel material that has not been seen before”.
“This partnership enables our strategy in developing circular business models and drives forward sustainable design,” said Alistair Smith, director of global product design at Icebreaker.
