NEW YORK – Software solutions provider MakersValley has launched a beta version of a new traceability technology designed to give consumers unprecedented insight into the supply chains of fashion brands and retailers.  

The company’s Orma platform will link with product-specific QR coded labels which shoppers can scan on their phones to learn more about the lifecycle of an item.  

“In just a simple link click or real-life QR code scan, your device can now unlock a wealth of rich product information that goes beyond the simple instructions on a care label or price tag. Things are no longer separated into just e-commerce or just in-store. This is a true omnichannel experience,” commented MakersValley CEO, Alessio Iadicicco.
