BARCELONA – Spanish fashion brand Mango has partnered with circular services provider I:CO, of the Soex Group, to establish a clothing collection service covering Germany, Poland, Switzerland and Turkey.
I:CO will manage the service’s logistics, taking in donations from consumers via Mango’s Committed Box project, which it’ll then assess to deem whether products are suitable for resale, reuse or recycling.
Beatriz Bayo, Mango’s sustainability director, commented: “Moving forward in our circular economy strategy is one of the pillars of our sustainability goals. For this reason, we are working on extending our Committed Box project through agreements like this one, working in coalition with local partners that will allow us to contribute on a local level in every country where the project is implemented."
