LONDON – Peer-to-peer resale marketplace Ebay has partnered with product repairs specialist Reskinned in a bid to strengthen its secondhand fashion offering.

Reskinned has worked with tens of brands to date, including River Island and Joules, giving shoppers easy access to professional garment restoration and disposal services, as it also facilitates the recycling of unsalvageable apparel.

Commenting on the collaboration, Ebay’s head of fashion, Jemma Todd, said: “Pairing Ebay’s reach to conscious customers, with Reskinned’s expertise in garment repair, resale and recycling will help extend the lifecycle of products, reduce waste and showcase the variety of routes into a kinder way to shop for the shopper's wallet and the planet.”
