ZURICH - Swiss startup Oxyle has announced the completion of a US$3 million pre-seed funding round which it will use to develop its technology which claims to remove micropollutants including perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) from wastewater.

Oxyle’s customers include companies in the textile pigments industry, as well as firms involved in the pesticides, chemicals, electronics and pharmaceutical sectors.

The funding round, which was led by Wingman Ventures with support from SOSV, Better Ventures and another.vc, brings the total capital raised by the company to US$7.4 million since it was founded in 2020.
