LENZING/PEORIA – Austrian cellulosic fibre specialist Lenzing is to provide its Tencel-branded fibres as a backer option for sustainable materials startup Natural Fiber Welding's (NFW) plant-based leather alternative Mirum.
The collaboration will be showcased at the Lineapelle international leather fair which takes place this week, from Tuesday 21st to Thursday 23rd February 2023 in Milan, Italy.
Lenzing's Tencel lyocell and model fibres are derived from sustainable wood sources, produced using environmentally responsible processes, and fully traceable through Lenzing’s fibre identification technology.
