ROSEVILLE - IOAS (International Organic Accreditation Service) has suspended the accreditation of two organic cotton certification bodies for failing to meet the requirements of standards bodies.

Control Union (CU) India has been suspended from testing and sampling Indian organic textile products because of irregularities in its certification process.

The suspension, which follows an unsuccessful appeal by CU India, applies for ISO/IEC 17065 (all scopes), GOTS (all scopes) and Textile Exchange (all scopes).
