DENVER – Timberland, Vans and The North Face are working with farmers in Thailand to roll out new footwear made with regeneratively sourced natural rubber, as they look to meet stringent environmental goals.
Parent company VF Corporation, which owns all three brands, says its pilot regenerative agriculture program in Thailand with Terra Genesis has developed a ‘first of its kind’ regenerative outcome verified (ROV) rubber supply system to help meet targets around its sustainability roadmap.
