HERZOGENAURACH – Sportswear giant Adidas has been urged to share the proceeds of its defunct 'Yeezy' partnership with Kanye West with some of the workers who made the products.

The company was left with Yeezy shoes worth US$1.3 billion after cutting ties with West over anti-semitic comments but recently announced it is to sell off some of the products.

Adidas has pledged to donate some of the proceeds to organisations fighting racism and discrimination but has now been urged to extend that to workers in its supply chain.
