BRUSSELS - A coalition of European environment-focused NGOs has issued a joint statement urging Euro MPs to incorporate waste prevention and local re-use as guiding principles in a proposed extended producer responsibility (EPR) scheme for textiles.
It was signed by the Changing Markets Foundation, Ecopreneur, En Mode Climat, Environmental Coalition on Standards, European Environmental Bureau, Fédération de la Mode circulaire, Impact France, Plastics Change, Recycling Network Benelux, RREUSE, and Zero Waste Europe.
