KITAKYUSHU – A joint venture between recycling technology firm Jeplan, clean fuel specialist Axens Group and sustainable energy consultancy IFP Energies Nouvelles has begun operations at its new polyester recycling plant in Japan.
The aim of the Rewind PET pilot plant is to demonstrate to future customers how the chemical recycling process can be integrated into their own recycling facilities for the production of a high-quality, virgin-grade recycled PET, suitable for a range of applications including textiles, food and contact packaging.
