LONDON - The Ethical Trading Initiative has concluded that its member, retail giant Next, does not bear responsibility for worker-related incidents at one of its suppliers in Turkey.
The case first came to light in 2022 when workers at Turkish apparel manufacturer Neo Trend were left unemployed after the owners closed the company, stripping its assets and leaving employees without legally owed wages, due severance and other allowances.
