BRUSSELS - The European Commission has issued a report with the aim of informing policy design and implementation on textile waste management.
The EU strategy for sustainable and circular textiles currently envisages a circular textiles eco-system that has sufficient capacities for fibre-to-fibre recycling, while ensuring that the incineration and landfilling of textiles is reduced to the minimum.
