OLYMPIA - A new bill aimed at holding major fashion brands to account for their global environmental and human rights impacts has been introduced in the US state of Washington.

Bill 2068 is based on New York state's proposed Fashion Sustainability and Social Accountability Act, also known as the New York Fashion Act, which supporters hope to see passed this year.
