SAN LEANDRO - Californian bio-materials start-up ZymoChem has raised $21 million in a Series A funding round with support from new investor Canadian athleticwear brand Lululemon.

The investment in ZymoChem, which uses proprietary carbon conserving (C2) microbes to convert renewable feedstocks into bio-based materials, was led by Breakout Ventures.
