KINGSPORT – Specialty materials supplier Eastman has joined forces with waste and recycling company Rumpke in a bid to expand the recycling of PET waste into textiles.
Rumpke will collect and sort hard-to-recycle, coloured PET packaging waste which Eastman’s molecular recycling process will aim to turn into virgin quality polyester.
