LONDON - Luxury fashion house Prada has joined the Sustainable Markets Initiative's Fashion Task Force, a private-sector coalition aimed at accelerating the transition towards a more sustainable future in the global fashion and textiles sector.

Counting some of the world's most recognisable high fashion brands and retailers amongst its members, including Armani, Burberry, Stella McCartney and Selfridges, the SMI, and its sub-group, the Fashion Task Force, is chaired by tech entrepreneur and sustainability pioneer Federico Marchetti.
