ISTANBUL - A new report published by the Clean Clothes Campaign Turkey has revealed the harmful impact of using potassium permanganate (PP) in the denim bleaching process.
The report, which approached 44 brands for their input, focuses on the effect of PP chemical use on worker health and environmental pollution in the Ergene Basin in Turkey which is now said to be unsuitable for agricultural purposes.
