MILAN - Italian fashion group Armani has pledged to co-operate with the authorities after one of its subsidiaries was accused of indirectly subcontracting production to companies in Milan which paid workers as little as €2 ($2.17) an hour.

It comes after Giorgio Armani Operations was placed under judicial administration for a year, meaning it will have to operate under an administrator appointed by a court in the Italian city.
