European recycling body unveils manifesto for textile circularity by 2030

Each EU citizen reportedly generates approximately 16kg of textile waste annually

The European Recycling Industries’ Confederation (EuRIC) Textiles has unveiled a new ‘manifesto’ in which it outlines a series of key policy recommendations to achieve circularity in the textile sector by 2030.

As a trade body, EuRIC’s main objectives are to connect the European recycling industries and other circular economy stakeholders, to act as a trusted partner between the European recycling value chain and policymakers, and to provide specific and cross-sectoral expertise on a broad range of materials.
