US Cotton Trust Protocol and Supima partner on traceability

The US Cotton Trust Protocol and Supima, the brand for American grown Pima cotton, have formed a partnership aimed at enhancing cotton supply chain traceability and providing brands and retailers with “unprecedented access” to farm-level data.

The collaboration will draw from the existing capabilities of both organisations including their use of the USDA’s permanent bale identification system and TextileGenesis’s traceability platform.
