Aii offers roadmap for Bangladesh decarbonisation

The Apparel Impact Institute (Aii) has published a new report aimed at helping Bangladesh’s apparel and textile sector meet its potential for reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

The report, Landscape and Opportunities to Finance the Decarbonization of Bangladesh's Apparel Manufacturing Sector - written in collaboration with Development Financial International (DFI), outlines how as of 2023, Bangladesh was among the top five countries with the largest potential for GHG emissions reductions in its textile industry, which accounts for more than 80% of the country’s foreign export revenue.
