ILO and UNDP partner on Pakistan human rights standards

UNDP and ILO have joined forces to promote responsible business conduct that will better protect garment workers across Pakistan

The programme will work to improve the human rights of Pakistan's garment workers

The International Labour Organization (ILO) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) have launched a strategic partnership to promote responsible conduct and strengthen human rights due diligence across Pakistan’s business sector, including across the garment and textile industry.

Part of the UNDP’s Huqooq-e-Pakistan II programme, which is supported by the European Union (EU), the partnership marks a shared commitment to advancing labour rights, responsible business practices, and embedding human rights at the heart of economic growth.
