Textile recyclers react to Greenpeace report

ACCRA - Greenpeace claims that used garments have been found in a huge rubbish dump in protected wetlands in Ghana highlighted the need for investment in waste and recycling infrastructure, according to the Textile Recycling Association (TRA).

TRA chief executive Alan Wheeler said the need was greatest in countries like Ghana where rapid urbanisation and limited public services created systemic constraints.
