Fashion’s regenerative shift faces data obstacles

A new report released today shows both progress and challenges when transitioning fashion supply chains to regenerative agricultural practices

An update on the Regenerative Fund for Nature project from Kering, Inditex, and Conservation International shows incremental progress towards its goal of converting 1 million hectares of farmland to regenerative practices by 2026.

But the report also says that accurate data collection remains difficult and over the last three years and notes the definition of regeneration has changed since its launch in 2022.
