Digital platforms ‘fail to protect workers’

New report says obstacles are preventing digital tools from helping those most at risk from supply chain harms

LONDON – Systemic barriers are limiting the ability of digital tools to advance supply chain transparency and accountability, according to a new report from the Open Supply Hub.

Drawing on consultation with 65 trade unions, worker groups and civil society organizations (CSOs) from six continents, it says those most affected by supply chain harms struggle to use the tools effectively.
