Aii makes grants available for electrification

The funding is intended for pilot projects that accelerate electrification and other low-carbon technologies in textile supply chains

SAN FRANCISCO – The Apparel Impact Institute (Aii) has introduced a grant pool of $1.335 million to support capital expenditure for projects that accelerate electrification and low-carbon technologies in textile processing.

Aii says it follows increased industry interest since the publication of its Low-Carbon Thermal Roadmap - exploring the potential of electric boilers and heat pumps, along with biomass and natural gas, in key supply countries - back in March.
