FibER Hub microfibre research to expand

Industry momentum for further microfibre shedding research builds

NEWCASTLE – Research into microfibre pollution from textiles being carried out at Northumbria University in the UK is to be expanded after global fashion brands backed the work at an industry event.

Adidas, Bestseller and On Running attended the gathering along with textile manufacturers Positive Materials and Paradise Textiles, as well as Fashion for Good and The Microfibre Consortium (TMC).
