Uzbekistan allocates land for regenerative cotton pilot

Partnership between Uzbek government, ICAC and blockchain platform provider Bizpando aims to improve soil health and generate carbon credits

TASHKENT - The Uzbekistan government has committed 55,000 hectares of land for a regenerative agriculture programme for cotton, in partnership with the International Cotton Advisory Committee (ICAC) and blockchain platform provider Bizpando.

The collaborative project will use regenerative farming practices aimed at improving soil health and potentially generating carbon credits for participating farmers.
