VILNIUS – BlackRock’s move to take a stake in Vinted, in a deal reported to value the business at around €8 billion (£7 billion), underlines that apparel resale is attracting serious capital.

The secondary share transaction, said to exceed £500 million and involving other major institutions, signals investor confidence that second‑hand fashion platforms can deliver growth and scale, even as the broader sector still works out viable long‑term economics.
