Executive bonuses now reward AI literacy as citizenship and sustainability targets disappear after four years
NEW YORK – Ralph Lauren has removed citizenship and sustainability targets from its executive bonus plan and replaced them with artificial intelligence (AI) metrics, according to a 2026 proxy statement filed with the US Securities and Exchange Commission in June.
The change applies to the company’s short-term incentive plan for fiscal 2026, which ended in March. AI measures now act as a “strategic goal modifier”, alongside revenue, operating profit margin, and adjusted selling, general, and administrative expenses.
