Indorama Ventures has completed the sale of its Brazilian subsidiary, Indorama Ventures Fibras Brasil Ltda. (IVFB), to Oben Polímeros Ltda. and Oben Global, S.L. for a total consideration of $18.45 million (approximately Thai Baht 604.6 million), as part of a broader strategy to streamline its asset portfolio.

The transaction, which was approved by the board of Indorama Ventures Polímeros S.A. (IVPSA) — an indirect subsidiary of the Thai-listed group — on 30 December 2025, was completed on 30 April 2026. IVFB has now ceased to be a subsidiary of the company.

Indorama said the divestment is intended to enhance operational efficiency and enable it to serve customers from "more competitive production bases." The company confirmed the deal will not have a material impact on its overall operations or financial position, with the transaction size falling below the 15% threshold under Thailand's Stock Exchange disclosure rules.

Oben Polímeros and Oben Global, S.L. are not connected persons of Indorama Ventures.
