IPE’s Green Supply Chain program works to increase the responsibility that multinational and domestic companies take for the environmental impacts of factories in their supply chain in China.  Day to day, the program recruits corporations and financial institutions to use the database and supplier oversight tools to drive reductions in pollution from their suppliers around the country.  It assists manufacturing enterprises to publicly report upon and rectify their non-compliance problems.  The Green Supply Chain program sets professional-level expectations for environmental achievement with its Corporate Information Transparency Index (CITI), an annual corporate ranking system for supply chain responsibility.  The program also leverages the power of transparency with its corporate and brand maps that link brand locals to supplier environmental performance.
