Swiss PET and polyester recycler DePoly announces plans for a 500-tonne-per-year plant after raising $23 million

ZURICH - Swiss PET and polyester recycling startup DePoly has announced plans for a 500-tonne-per-year demo plant after completing a $23 million seed funding round.

The plant at Monthey, Switzerland, will showcase DePoly's technology which claims to recycle plastic waste – from polyester shirts to water bottles – into virgin-quality raw materials.
