Sympatex Technologies files for insolvency as administrators keep operations running and seek restructuring options

MUNCIH - PFAS-free membrane specialist Sympatex Technologies has entered insolvency proceedings in Germany, with the court‑appointed administrator saying operations will continue while options for restructuring or a sale are explored.

The company, which has long positioned itself as a PFAS‑free alternative to PTFE‑based waterproof‑breathable systems for outdoor and workwear brands, filed for insolvency at the Munich District Court on 22nd January, citing inability to pay its debts.
