Vietnam’s state-owned textile giant warns that trade protectionism and tariff volatility pose the greatest near-term threat to the country’s position as the world’s second-largest textile exporter.
Le Tien Truong, chairman of Vietnam National Textile and Garment Group (Vinatex), warned that escalating trade protectionism and tariff uncertainty represent the most significant risk facing Vietnam’s textile and garment sector over the next three to five years.
