The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) has announced president and CEO Steven Kolb has been placed on professional leave pending a full review of a physical confrontation with PETA protesters at a New York Fashion Week show on Sunday.
The incident occurred during the COS Fall-Winter 2026 presentation at Manhattan’s WSA building when activists interrupted the runway to protest wool use.
