GLOBAL – Workers’ rights NGO Remake has launched an online petition urging major fashion brands to #PayUp for orders in production from key manufacturing nations, particularly across southeast Asia, where those in textile supply chains continue to be crippled in the aftermath of the coronavirus outbreak.

The petition makes the case for a collective workforce yet to receive millions for orders either fulfilled or partially fulfilled despite being given the word of brands who’ve been very public in such promises.

H&M, VF Corp and Kiabi are amongst the few to have taken steps to begin the process of payment, whilst 15 companies including Inditex, Primark, PVH and Target are yet to follow through.
