BTMA is a company Limited by guarantee with 40+ direct member companies plus NWTN members. Financially secure we aim to accelerate the delivery of key strategic ambitions, whilst constantly updating the ways we can assist our members and the wider industry in the post pandemic market.

The new position of CEO will have the vision to refine and implement the Board’s strategy. Key will be expanding the operational profile of the organisation, through leadership of a small team, and the integration of two operations to provide additional benefits to all members. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in a strategic role, with a background likely to include most of the following aspects: engineering; machinery sales; knowledge of the textiles industry; international travel and exhibitions. You will need the gravitas and skills to operate alongside senior industry executives, government, research bodies and training providers in delivery partnerships at multiple levels.

With resources available to assist in promotion, exhibitions, R&D and the provision of skills training, this will be an exciting role for an enthusiastic, talented leader to build on a platform of achievement in assisting the international success of British Textile machinery manufacturing.
