PHNOM PENH - A Cambodian government working group studying the phenomenon of mass fainting in the country's garment factories says it has identified the major causes.

The working group was set up after a total of 38 workers reportedly fainted in incidents at three separate factories over the course of last year.

It has now concluded that the main causes appear to have been chemical fumes, poor working conditions and excessive overtime at the factories concerned.
