GOTHENBURG – Swedish retailer Lindex has teamed up with native forestry group Södra to adopt its ‘sustainable’ cellulose-based fibre.

Over recent years, Södra has scaled its production of fibre using wood cellulose and cotton waste – whilst increasing the ratio of waste material to 20 per cent – enabling companies to utilise more circular materials.

“Our collaboration with OnceMore is an important step in our circular transformation, where we want to increase the reuse of materials and reduce the use of virgin raw material,” commented strategic lead for circularity and environmental lead, Annette Tenstam.
