LONDON – Luxury yoga wear brand Wellicious has launched a Cradle-to-Cradle (C2C) certified clothing range that it says is made from ‘fully compostable’ fibres.
The company says its capsule collection has been six-years in the making, as it placed onus on researching and developing a total of 12 items to ensure all ingredients are “safe for biological systems”.
Wellicious’ founder, Heike Petersen Cunza, told Ecotextile News: “In the future, we are planning to manufacture more products. However, we will only focus on C2C and compostable products as it is the world’s most ambitious standard that enables a healthy and sustainable tomorrow.”
